Looking for somewhere in the Lakes for myself and Mrs Surfer, as well as young surfer2 to spend a week over Easter, Surfer1 is busy costing me a Kidney in Austria Skiing!
I've been with Cumbrian cottages before and they were good, if a bit pricey. Ideally somewhere that has maybe access to leisure facilties (pool) for them to use while I seek out near death experiences in the fells!

Got to be worth a look.
Stayed in the valley a few years back and it was perfect for walks from the door. The Langdales club is classy as well, compared to my local swimming baths anyhow!
Will do Sofatester, we used that club last time and it was great.

If you’re keen, get to the top of the Langdale Pikes for sunrise, "Jakes rake" route if you want your sences waking up! It's an experience not to be missed.
Then breakfast in the Old dungeon ghyll, perfect 😀
