Hi,
I just downloaded the app and went to download a book. It says sample on the front cover, does that mean I'm getting free samples or that I only have part of a book??

Sample is normally only part of a book

It's what it says, a sample just to give the prospective customer a flavour of the book. Usually a chapter or so, and normally free.
