Has anyone found a decent, proper, mountain sleeping bag for kids?
My 5.5 year old needs a new one but I don’t want to replace it with another generic kids camping thing.
We get out on some pretty epic adventures and he has used my wife’s down bag for those but it’s an unnecessary additional bulk to carry.
Most kids bags seem to be synthetic things with a fair old weight and massive pack size...
Any good options out there?
We had a Vaude expandable kids down bag that was excellent we picked up from an outdoor group on FB.
We also had a Vango and two of Black's own brand kids bag - but synthetic and not as warm as you might think.
Buy an outdoor down duvet to go over a bag?
Alpkit certainly used to offer their sleeping bags in shorter sizes, cane at a slight dust count too, which was nice
