You poor bastard, it's not even a good fade! I would find another barber and get them to buzz the top a 4,and take up (yes,up; slightly) the fade so its even. From there you will just have to take comfort in the sense of individuality only such an obscure haircut can provide. "I could explain this haircut, but you wouldn't understand."

Chapeau for sharing. I really how you didn't pay for their mistake, more than you have already that is.
As a man who has had a barber cut his ear instead of his hair (ow!), had his mates shave a big stripe out of the top of my head and left the hairdressers with a tiny mohawk, which was their idea of "a straightforward no maintenance haircut", I have to say that compared to you I got off very lucky.
I now cut my own hair, then the only person I can blame is myself. Slightly balding 26 year old...

The fade is ok actually, it's made to look a lot worse in the photos. The fact I have a big dollop of white / grey hair over both my temples makes it look worse.
Not back at work until 22nd June, so it's got plenty of time to grow out before the boys at work put me to the sword.
I didn't pay for the cut or the Hipster Pomade.

Reminds me of my brother going for a haircut in town as a yoof. Haircut done, the hairdresser asked if it was all OK in the mirror.
It was not.
But my bro, being shy, of course said yes that's great and paid (with tip!) and left.
He went to another hairdresser and told them his mate had just cut his hair with kitchen scissors and he needed it tidied up. She did so while commenting that his mate didn't do too bad considering it was his first go 🙂

Last time I went to a crap barber's he finished and asked me if I wanted anything on it. I replied that I'd like a pair of knickers. Puzzled, he asked why. I replied that as he made me look like a **** I might as well dress it like one.
Actually, The Wife hasn't stopped stroking my stubbly bits. She has repeated "it's alright", so although I look like a **** I might be on to a winner.
Think yourself lucky. I occasionally shave mine with a blade, and spend the day wistfully fondling the little crease at the back of my head. It's only thanks to the little whisper of stubble that I don't hand myself in.........
