But Jensonbutton is from the South and so is Lewis Hamilton they are both World Champions and most of the F1 teams are based south-ish (McLaren Red Bull Lotus Force India Williams etc) so shut up!

Only one up North is Virgin and they are rubbish. Because based in Yorkshire probbly.

Maybe he is go help poor people live in North feel better because is always rain. ๐Ÿ™

He did stall it while doing a donut, his crew had to push it all the way back down deansgate.

Anything north of the A303 is "The North". Anything east of the New Forest is "London". Fact.

Anyway enough of trying to prove to idiots that Manchester is the best city. We went to see it and didn't see the car at all, the crowd was three deep so we got a vague impression of something white and red going past very fast and most of all it was like witnessing a moving explosion of noise and shockwave, followed by a smell of unburned fuel. Incredible.

You did well to get any photos at all.

Me and my 7 year old watched on John Dalton street for the first stint and Deansgate for the following run. Right against the barriers so top view.

Great spectacle, fantastic noise and JB signed my lads hat, which he was delighted by. My lad blurted out that he went karting, and was told to keep it up, that's how he started.

Top chap.

On another Jenson note, did he renew/extend his contract at Mclaren this year?

Not yet...he's waiting for Whitmarsh to take up the one year extension but I think Whitmarsh wants him to sign for multiple years (from what I've read).

And he only wants to sign up for multiple years if it includes a reduction in time spent doing PR.
