Liz, Ray's wife has asked me to let you know that Ray took his own life on Saturday. He got a lot of enjoyment and made a lot of friends on this forum and she thought that you all should know why he's gone. Sorry to be the bearer of such bad news.

How very thoughtful of his wife to ask you to post, esp at such a difficult time for her. Please thank her for her consideration.
Perhaps when someone loved passes away it is best to remember that they are completely safe now and nothing can ever hurt or frighten them again. Its how I like to think of loved ones I have lost. Somewhere protected, where I can think of them with love.

I totally agree. I was thinking of him only yesterday when I said to Junkyard [i]"My knowledge of Marx is very far from great (I'm sure many on here have a much better knowledge)"[/i] Jahwomble was the person who came straight into my mind - he had read Das Capital. That, and all the other stuff he posted on here, made him a genius as far as I'm concerned. Very very clever man. And I will really miss him, although I know he will no longer feel the pain he felt. RIP Jahwomble 🙁
