After saying my lean spell continues, and I HAD checked the app at that point, I received an email this morning telling me I was "A WINNER!"

Upon RE-checking the app, it now shows £25. It almost feels like an insult...

It’s £25 more than you had yesterday, perhaps be grateful for that.

Yes. I appreciate that. I'd checked, and has accepted £0. Then the "WINNER!" email led to the smallest prize available. Not ungrateful, just feeling a bit manipulated.

I checked the app just after midnight today, so there is obviously some lag with the app accounts being updated.

I've about given up on actually winning anything. I think its been about 50 or 75 quid in the last 3 years.

I'd probably be better cashing them in for a bit of gold or an isa. And wasnt there something in the last week or two about how they're again mucking about with the prizes to lower chances of winning further

£50 for me. I think I should shift some to a high interest account for a few months whilst the rates are ok.

Nothing for me. Just done the maths and I've got 2.6% return in the last 12 months.

Same, but think my return is much lower than that!  I think I’ve only had one £50 win in 8 months now.

£100 this month – my first win since last November.

Apparently, one of the £1m winners (from London as they so often seem to be) only had a £600 holding.

I need to know whose palms some of you are greasing. My return is 2% in the last year! I'm cashing it all out to a savings account

Nothing again. It's no longer surprising after about 12 months of a full holding returning about 2% I started gradually moving the money in to better places. I will just retain a small holding at the end as it is a good short term home for cash and you never know.....

Only bought some at the end of July so don't get entered until Sept, keeping my fingers crossed for myself & Mrs dB that it works out as a good investment. Is the app worth downloading or should I just wait for an email & see what appears in our bank account?

poolman surely you need to do your calculations based on a year of holding them not 2 months?

We are going to shift some of ours to Fixed ISAs for a better return.Maybe if a lot of people start doing the same the percentage will be put back up ?

If I was more logical I should cash in and move to a more efficient savings scheme for a greater return but my heart says I'm going to get a million soon.

No luck for me again this time... Though have already won £100 earlier this year, which based on the fact I've only got £1k invested now, has already provided me a 10% ROI for the year anyway and it's still only August...

Only £50 this month but I'm still way ahead of my expected returns so I can't complain

2 x £25, after 2 dry months.

Also thinking of moving it to a fixed rate ISA.

I got 50 quid too.

@retrorick

Do you get a special email or an amount like that or does it just show up like 50 quid would?

He showed me the app notification that said 1 prize of £5000. I think it'll be dropped in his pb account as he hasn't maxed out yet...

I got £125 once, or it might have been £150, I can't remember.. I just got an email saying 'you've won a prize', then you have to log into the website to see how much it is.

I don't use the app, I didn't know they had one lol.

Notifications no different be it £25 or £25k for sure. I think it is only the million where you get a physical visit.

I use the prize checker site with my Holder's number:

https://www.nsandi.com/prize-checker

I also get email notifications but ignore them.

I think it’ll be dropped in his pb account as he hasn’t maxed out yet…

That can be changed in your settings. Easy to set to transfer wins straight to another account,
