[#12175469]

As in tomorrow the morning, before someone points out it's 00:06 and therefore already tomorrow, or something...

As in a bank holiday/substitute day or something. Basically, will the postman be delivering?

Can I have another beer is what I really want to know.

Happy New Year!

It's a bank holiday AFAIK, Xmas Eve and Day were Sat & Sun so they get deferred.

Some things are amazing. I wonder who thought to implement this rule and why.

Definitely a normal working day son. Set your alarm extra early to jump out of bed.

Stay up as late as you like tonight. Then simply stay in bed until your alarm. Best of both worlds. Hope that helps.

I'm on leave all this week as the schools don't go back till 10th. Couple of volunteering shifts at the vaccination centre have been cancelled so suddenly have more time for riding as well.

Mind you I'm typing this at 5.20am, having been awake since 4. Insomnia. Great track, rubbish lifestyle.

Monday ? set off for a ride with a ferry crossing...riding for an hour before light traffic and closed stuff made me realise a holiday and more pace needed...ferry leaves 45minutes earlier! Made it despite headwind

Christmas Eve was a Friday...but as Christmas day was Saturday and Boxing Day was Sunday, the bank holidays were extended as they don't do bank holidays at weekends...

It’s a bank Holiday because New Year’s Day was on Saturday. As previously mentioned, in Scotland, Tuesday is also a bank holiday because the 2nd was on Sunday.
Awaits the jokes about Scots being drunks and needing the extra day to clear hangovers.
