The funniest Character from all animations ever created? Every time I watch Madagascar I end up pissing my self.
Is there a funnier character? Surely not.

To me? No.

Humour is subjective though, so if he is to you then that's just fine.

Fail. The dinosaur on toy story is the funniest creature cartoon. Ever. FACTO.

Brian Griffin.

Now this proves my point. I would rather take a punch to the cock than watch Family Guy.

I remember finding him hilarious at the time.

I guess a lot of the Simpsons characters would be up there.

Cool. Glad i`m not the only one. I agree that the second one he is equally as funny as the first. If not funnier.

King Julian is indeed extremely funny. But then he's voiced by Ali G, what do you expect? ๐Ÿ™‚

The plane crash sequence from the second film had me in stitches ๐Ÿ™‚

However the side effect of this is that I can't watch documentaries about Madagascar without smirking a lot.

Other psml moments in animated films include the time-stretch sequence from Over the Hedge, with Hammy the Squirrel. Genius ๐Ÿ™‚

King Julien is indeed the work of comic genius

Have you seen Despicable Me? Worth a watch. Its very very funny, But the evil genius (?) Vector is particularly amusing

That's cos that Simpsons/Futurama stuff is simply a TV show and nothing like the pure brilliance of the above discussed films...

The minions from Despicable Me are excellent.

King Julian I find annoying but that'll because it's Sacha Cohen who is just not funny.

He has had unfunny moments, but he can be excellent.

The best minion bit is when he asks them to find a unicorn toy.

Best penguin bit is where they finally make it to Antarctica, stand freezing on a wind lashed ice floe for a few minutes then go somewhere warmer ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh come on.. that's funny the first time, that's it. A crude bit of throwaway attitude can't beat a lovingly crafted animated film ๐Ÿ™‚

Yeah, because filling 90 minutes is much harder than consistently producing 25 minutes of quality animation over several years, and in the case of the Simpsons, decades.

Not saying Pixar productions are not awesome, merely you dismiss the work of TV animation at the risk of coming across as a douche bag with an Ali G fetish ๐Ÿ˜‰

I don't think King Julien got one laugh out of me, apart from the New York Giants line and that was just dialogue not character. The penguins on the other hand stole the show.

The mad squirrel from Open Season, voiced by Billy Connolly

But was crap in OS 2 (..but then it went straight to video anyways didn'
it)

The penguins on the other hand stole the show.

I always thought this, but the cartoon they do on there own, is rubbish.

I would hardly call the Simpsons consistent, and Futurama even less so. Some Simpsons is brilliant, most is watchable, some is cringingly embarassing. The majority of Futurama is just dull.

So you can just bite my shiny oh wait...

Family guy is ok at times, very clever - but also needlessly crude at times too. They often can't think of anything to do so they are just crude and nasty.
