Looks like snow, but too warm here in Mid Wales 🙁

Drizzle and super strong winds

Think I'll stay in the warm this afternoon 😉

Votchy I'm just 7 miles out of derby an we had over a foot, even a day off work as well last time

derby is a bit 'north' to be classed as the midlands though isn't it? 15 miles south of brum here 😀

Some one driving in to work said the temp went from 7 degrees to 1 degree in 40 mins. Thats quite impressive.

This'll be the first time I've had to make a long cross country journey with a risk of snow. I think if it looks bad I'll just book more nights in the hotel and keep working until it clears - then take the days off in lieu before Christmas 🙂

yes, 12 wet snowflakes have been seen in sheffield.

they all melted the instant they hit the ground but quick, we must tell the old people so they can panic, and then rush out to buy all the milk, bread and sausages!

Sleet in valley bottom Sheffield, reports of sticking up t'hills.

correction:

'up in(t) hills'

the 't' is silent, but must be hinted at by using a micro-pause.

saying "up t'hills" means 'up to the hills'

i am a pedant.

Rain in Peterborough when I left for work and 7 deg. C.

Don't know how cold it is, but at work in Letchworth it's rainy and the grey clouds are stacking up. Looking very ominous!

Been snowing in my bit of Sheffield for quite a while now - wasn't settling at first but it definitely is now.
How long before the co-op sells out of bread? (if it hasn't already...)

Starting to sort of sleet in the Surrey/Hampshire area. Just a little bit, but there are some snowflakes in there. Not particularly cold tho.

I'd like to wish the snow in Sheffield the best of luck. It's having a good crack, but it's a bit wet...

No snow in Hertfordshire, but the bloke putting scaffolding up on my roof is not a happy chap. His nose looks to have turned blue.

Raining here in That London, which is good, as it washes all the vomit and dog poo away. 🙂

Barnsley to Mold this afternoon: had to turn round on the Woodhead Pass, now closed. Went north for the A635 Holfirth to Manchester, snow gates closed.Right up North via Oldham OK.

Three and a half hours I'll never get back. And I'm still cross
