My wife and I have a sizable chunk of cash doing nothing in the bank. It's enough for a very good deposit somewhere (£50k) but not really enough to buy out right and we can't seem to find a reasonable mortgage for people in our situation.
As ex-pats, with no real assets in the UK, what could we do to make our money do more than get 0.3% pa?
Anyone bought property in a similar situation?
