Been dying for an excuse to post some photos of our cats, brother (Watson) and sister (Dot), who are nearly a year old. If I can't post them on International Cat Day, then when can I!? ๐Ÿ˜‰

8 week fluff:

Lovely pics, had to have our cat put to sleep last night, absolutely gutting to ride home today & there was no one there to greet me asking for her tea ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

Rocketdog - my sympathies, there is a period of pain when they pass away that is eclipsed by all the joy they bring into our lives for many years.

Remember the good times.

Ada, being well behaved.

Unlike tonight when she has been trying to disembowel the couch.

Rocketdog. Not at all - having been there I totally understand. I would echo Cranberry's post.

Thinking of you.

Sad to hear of your loss. They really do become part of the family. Dreading the day with ours who's now 19. Lost the other one last year.

Sorry to here.
We lost little Gizmo a couple of weeks ago. Very sad but we were lucky to have her for nearly 21 years.
From the day she picked us looked down and this little blue eyed bundle of fluff was sat on my boot.

rocketdog, a long time ago we were a 7 cat family. Lost all of them (and more) over the years to old age, illness, being run over and disappearing. All of them heartbreaking, but it's their lives that really last in the memory.

Been 6 or 7 years since we last had a cat, and this pair are wonderful.

Dunno if this will work, but it's a vid of one Watson watching a well known BMX video ๐Ÿ™‚

Several laps of the living room, a pit stop then laps of the hallway, whilst shouting "I ain't going to bed, and you can't make me".

A stop for tummy rubs.

More laps of the hall.

Finally I am allowed to catch her, give her a chicken treat and put her in their room for the night.

A suitable and comfortably normal end to International Cat's Day.

This was my flaming cat on Sunday. You'll need to zoom in up the tree. A lot.

In a neighbours garden, 8m up the tree, having disappeared the previous evening. This after similar and being found on another neighbours roof the previous week.

We had to call out a local tree surgeon, and even then we had to jury rig two ladders together to get high enough. Hes not allowed out now, any advice on how to curtail this behaviour? He's 9 months old, and a rescue cat we've had for 3 months now. This has only just started as he's started going further than our garden.

Bloody cats!

Leave him to it; when he's hungry enough he'll figure out how to get down.
