New patio next week. Went along to choose colour but on seeing how lumpy bumpy it is and the amount of colour variation got put off. Preferred the smoothness and colour conformity of limestone.
Have read about its susceptibility to acid rain of limestone. That's not going to be my fault, bike cleaning products will be.
So ,should I take care or will it shrug off muc off and car shampoo?
Just cleaned my Indian sandstone. It looks ace IMHO. Especially now it's raining and had the "wet look". So many interesting colours. There's even fern type markings in mine, it's interesting to look at. It sounds like that doesn't appeal to you though.
Have a quick search on how the indian stone is sourced. If you can live with that to save a few £s then buy it.
