It may well just be my YouTube responding to what I watch, but there seems to be shedloads of vids these days revelling in avalanche near misses/rideouts.
The balls and skills of the riders are phenomenal, but I can't help worrying slightly that people may start taking bigger risks almost in the hope of getting the ultimate shot...
The algorithm can spot a pervert.
Teton Gravity Research posted a video recently warning people from trying big runs on a DIY basis. TGR said they will have a back up team of 30 people or something who are running safety, rescue etc etc who can cope w accidents quickly. But a couple of mates w big cojones and no backup would be in deep sh1t
