...one of my colleagues is changing career and opening a deli. In preparation for this she went to a cheese convention yesterday and today has given me a carrier back with samples of 25 different cheeses plus some chutneys and sourdough crispbreads.

I knacked my shoulder earlier in the year, after 3 months umming and ahhing I had the surgery about 7 weeks ago.
I'm Dead Chuffed I did, 6 weeks on, just back from a week in Corsica, swimming every day, lots of front crawl, back on the mtb too, bit of a niggle but it's not holding me back. I'll be off to the climbing wall shortly for a bash at that. So much better than before the surgery, massive step change in stability and utility.

Because I finished my holidays with a 3am taxi to the airport to fly to Turkmenistan.missing a friend's wedding on Friday in Te process.
Imagine my glee when I arrived to find out that the jobs been canceled and I'm being sent straight home on the same plane.
Lost my seat at the dinner table on Friday but will still get to party at night. Plus a couple of days on the bike in Aviemore.
the optic for my new DIY helmet light turned up so I've now got 2 new lights to try out 🙂

i'm off to the lakes on friday for two days riding and a friend's wedding.
I've just done my 2nd zwift ride of the day as my early morning ride was rubbish.
This one was strong and fast. Well, in a relative context to my riding anyway.
I got home early enough for a quick bit or roadrage before it got dark and neither the drivers nor the wet leaves got anywhwere near to killing me
I've just seen a job ad that looks perfect. Time to see if I remember what a cv looks like
I'm part time, just had 3 days off, in tomorrow & Friday then off for four etc etc etc.
HMRC just told me they owe me some money.
MsD is in a mood & hasn't spoken to me since Sunday - the quiet is wonderful!

Spent a great few hours with my two boys today for my day of half term duty. Both have behaved themselves and been great fun. We've not had a boys only day out since about July so we made a proper day of it. Watching them growing up, play together well and learn is fantastic.
Don't get much call for it.
Nothing in particular is making me happy, other than I've not got anything of real import to make me otherwise.
