Any good? They seem well priced but my concern is that even the pocket sprung ones are mostly foam so are likely to be seriously sweaty. Any experiences?

I have one, I think it's called "Hessung". I like it - quite firm, which I like, and not at all sweaty. Has retained its firmness and comfort for 4 years so far...

Yes, excellent value for money.

Be warned that if you buy one of their stupid metric ones, getting normal fitted sheets on will end in tears.
And blood.
And swearing.

We’ve got one for our spare bedroom. It’s absolutely fine. Cooler than our memory foam topped mattress. The bed is an ikea so we were restricted by the non standard size

We recently bought a (cheap admittedly) ikea double for our spare bedroom. Our master bedroom is currently being decorated so we are using this mattress for the first time. It's like a waterbed - every movement you or your partner makes ripples across the mattress so the other party moves in the swell too.

Lesson of the story - don't buy the circa £150 IKEA double mattress unless you both sleep like the dead.

We have a double one and it's pretty good, firm which is what we chose. When we got it, it had a fairly strong chemical smell which I think is the fire retardant they're sprayed with. Took a good few weeks for the smell to disappear

They are OK. Did me for a while but we've moved on to a very expensive Tempur as my spine is knackered after an accident.

We've got 2 at the moment. Both are brilliant.

When we bought our first house we got one of the cheap Ikea mattresses. It lasted for 9 years and it was only the last year that it became uncomfortable.

We got one last year - the name Hessung above sounds familiar. It's comfortable and movement on one side doesn't affect the other sleeper. It still looks in good condition but as I say is only a year old.

We have one that's 2-3 year old. It's the most expensive one they had and quite firm which we prefer.

What price? Just bought an Emma, one of the crop of online foam / memory builds as there was a £100 off offer over Christmas - best sleep I have ever had.
