(well maybe stretching the parkour thing a bit but you'll get the idea)

Seems a shame they'll probably end up with bombs and weapons strapped to them and be sent to kill human beings.

Yeah, it'd be better (not to mention much cheaper) if you just convinced a bunch of people that there was an everlasting party in the sky and all they had to do was blow up themselves and their enemies to guarantee an invite.

I thought the US Marines used slightly different recruitment processes.

You live and learn.

Not sure how good it would be in a fight. Tombstone would tear it apart.

Really impressive but is it just me or did it look like it spent most of its time going backwards?

The steps, snowy slope and table jumps are rather impressive.

This is the only real application that has the funding to buy stuff like this unfortunately ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

I thought those jumps looked like they were faked.

Love the short circuit reference at the end ๐Ÿ˜†

What really impressed me was the snowy slope, it totally locks up at one point then saves it. Everything else, though it's obviously fantastically clever, is pretty predictable/controlled but that's proper reacting to emerging events.

Surely that's a Radio-controlled vehicle - not a robot.

A robot is autonomous and makes it's own 'kill' decisions ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

It would have soon tripped over if they'd have stuck a few hungry cats in a room with it & asked it to prepare their tea..... ๐Ÿ˜†

Impressive tech though....

They could have at least drawn a face on it. I'm going to assume that the designers are big fans of Rodney Mullen.
