Are people really stupid enough to not get a solicitor when under arrest for a serious charge?

Just under £105k at present!

I've ended up listening to four weeks of archers podcasts to catch up, painful to listen to at times

It's a shame perhaps that they used Helen - who was always more than slightly annoying to start with... But obviously undeserving of this.

A big issue - and being handled well - and nice to hear a female policeman being the heavy-handed one for once.

I see they expect this story arc to continue for a year.

Helen is going to jail, who gets custody of Henry, has Rob adopted him? Storyline for years with Rob turning him against his mother and the ramifications down the line.

has Rob adopted him?

Yes. He's the legal father.

Rob's parents aren't nice people.

The pie is probably evidence now as well!

Dont think Rob went for full adoption in the end - he went for something quicker instead, for some unknown reason...

I'm desperately hoping Rob's gonna die, imagine if the bastard gets to bring up the children? Doesn't bear thinking about.

Also, undertones of Rob's father also being a controlling husband, v. forceful with his wife as they confronted Helen's folks....

I don't think Rob will be the next to die...

Lynda Snell for me - Carbon Monoxide poisoning from Eddie's botched wood-burner installation.

I'm away. Any chance of a brief synopsis of most recent episode?

Ta.

Not much happening. Pat & Tony being morose, Rob hanging on, Henry having nightmares, Susan surprisingly discreet, Eddie thinks he's fixed the problem with the chimney in Lynda's summer house.

Ha - just ignore Rusty, folks!
It's a private conversation, nothing to do with The Archers.

Pan fried beef bao, spicy peanut noodles and catching up on the Archers. #standard.

Homeward bound thankfully, and the soothing sounds of Ambridge are helping kill the waiting time for my flight!

Can it get any worse?

I think that Henry is going to be key to this. Something will hapen and Rob's lies will come tumbling down.

It's going on a bit now - I thought they'd spun it out long enough before the incident. Now Lazarus will doing his business for months more to come. I actually look forward to the bits about milk quotas and Lynda's daybed now.

It'll be at least 6 months before it goes to court.

GIDEON?

As if the poor child won't have enough disadvantages already!

I'm waiting for Kirsty to unleash a whole can of whoopass all over Ursula.

Go Helen! Go Helen!

Well, that was rather emotional stuff.

The question remains though, who was it that Anna was told about? Jess?

Going to be found not guilty of attempted murder but guilty of wounding with intent.

Goes to appeal and Rob the Evil Bastard has some kind of meltdown and the truth comes out.
