Does anyone know how to completely clear all data off a garmin 800? I'm selling mine, and want to delete everything, including my user settings and profile etc.
Is there an easy simple way of doing this?

Thanks, I had already checked google!
But there seems to be 2 different approaches - either (a) finger on left hand corner, turn on etc, or (b) press the lap & start buttons together and wait for a garmin 'splash' symbol.
So I though I'd ask on here in case someone has already done this ...
Try one, if it doesn't work, try the other one?
Fire, sledgehammer, preferably both. Possibly less sellable afterwards, depending on what the buyer intends to use it for.
You planning on running another Garmin unit? If so you can backup your data and import it to the new one. Instructions for 810 but the 800 will be similar.
Magnets.
Could always just plug it into a computer and delete your files via e.g. windows explorer
I think express has a factory reset option.
I bought one 2nd hand and did lap & start buttons together to clear everything off it. It went in to setup mode when I next turned it on
