I used to live on Newport Road. There was a roundabout, so I've been to Newport road island loads of times if that counts.

And according to those who were there - what state was Woodstock in? A state of mind, man. Far out.

9 - Noo Yoik, Noo Joisy, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, DC, Georgia, South Carolina.

Four for sure. CO, UT, AZ & NM.

Five (MN) if you count the airport I landed in first time (where I think I must've crossed customs and officially entered the US).

Been to about a dozen, three different trips. Quite a dog eat dog kinda country.

Their warmth towards white Scottish people is quite disarming.

Their misplaced assumption that you're a right wing christian just like them is quite alarming.

I have American relatives who drink and drive, hate Mexicans and Obama and genuinely think all Muslims are terrorists. They are otherwise loving, educated, caring, high functioning people, with successful careers, shiny kids, picket fences and Old Glory over the door.

Americans need to travel more.

Just one. Illinois. More specifically, a little town near Chicago called Gurnee where a company I worked for had an outpost....

Stumpty01,
Thanks for reminding me of the Gurnee Holiday Inn. I'll be having nightmares tonight!

Oh, and CA for a wedding.

California, Oregon, Washington (State, not DC) Nevada, Colorado and Massachusetts. All in one trip 22 years ago. I guess some parts will have changed but much of what I saw probably hasn't much.

But only been downtown in four cities, San Fransisco, Seattle, Denver and Boston. The rest of the time I was seeing as much of the outdoors as possible. I flew into LAX but got out of town as soon as I could from the airport.

Edit: I just remembered I spent 4 hours in Hawaii, most of which was in an immigration 'line' very early in the morning so I guess it doesn't count

I haven't been TO any states, but I've been IN every state you can imagine. 60 years worth in fact. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Unless you count Minnesota for 4 hours waiting for a flight to Calgary.
