3 weeks for me, job interview prep, illness and car hunting has kept me away, meaning my new larger size 5spot frame and 2010 revs has remained unridden.

I am itching to get out

first weekend of no activity in a while, though it's been 3 weeks since I rode my MTB(though rode round london everyday last week)

My bike is very clean at the moment, and I'm coming up with excuses not to ride at the moment.

need to get my arse into gear if my biking mbitions will be realised in 2010

Back on the bike today for the first time in over a month due to the birth of my first daughter and a general reluctance to get out in the cr@ppy weather. Did 10 miles and I was knackered, legs felt like I was riding through treacle (actually it was so muddy in places, I might as well have been!), but felt really good to get out again. Gotta get back in shape as I'm off to Afan at the end of January, and I want to enjoy it!

Got home at 3.45 so not too long. But that is the exception, had more on my plate than a spinster at a wedding buffet Been working away recently so barely ridden for past 5 weeks, feel fat, lazy and angry.

Got a CX bike to build and just nor had time as any spare te has been more riding than fettling.

Bring on Tuesday when I should be back at base office and commute won't involve Easyjet, BA or sleeper train.

Not ridden an mtb since I sold it in June, swiftly followed by a some nasty news from the doctors that kept me off all the bikes 'til the start of last month. Just been playing and commuting on the Singlecross since, waiting for the right bike at the right price. Oh, but to answer your question, Thursday. Been drunk since.

longer than pennine, not quite as long as grumm. I think.

can't be arsed, with all this crap weather, to be honest. I thought this weekend was supposed to be crisp & cold. 7degC is not cold. OK it's not tropical, but cold it is not. It's cold where my sister is - Peace River, Alberta. Proper cold. -12degC and that's in the daytime

About 7 hours and it was bloody fantastic. Social ride (20 odd miles, 1 cafe, 1 pub in 6 ish hours) but first ride in 8 weeks after dislocating shoulder and flu. Sunny cold day, mud, good company and a pint. God I have missed it in too many ways!

With mister p - twin daughters preceded by busy times at work mean I have ridden a handful of times in the last two years. Done lots of walking pushing the pram though - about 5 miles yesterday with the iPod on, listening to AC/DC and Kiss. Great times 🙂

4 weeks injuries kept me off, its starting to get to me and make me REALLY grumpy. Should be training for triathlons next year, if I don't get out soon I might well loose my rag. Working at a trail centre makes it even worse, all these people out on their bikes having a good time. Hate them 😉

This afternoon for an hours blast round the local trails. Otherwise, just daily road commuting since the Real Ale Wobble a few weeks ago.
