[Closed] How hard is it to learn computer programming ?

I used to be fairly good with Spectrum Basic, although I never got the hang of Machine Code. I know nothing about modern programming. I've heard names like C+ and Perl, but wouldn't know where to start. Thinking about DrDomRob's idea here,I'd be interested in collaborating if possible. Is there a sort of Windows Basic with simple "If x<y Then Goto z" commands or would I be better off just learning how to do it on a spreadsheet ?

After all, we're borderline autistics with few social skills, realising you might need to ask for permission is beyond us 🙂
