Sounds like they’ve been scanning the place for sometime to go to all that effort. Must have been a nice bike to nick.
Or someone on the inside tipped them off..
Either way they were obviously proficient enough to nick it under CCTV and be gone in under 30mins, won’t have been the only one they’ve nicked I would imagine.
Its odd really because a bloke not far from me has a big BMW 1200 GS that’s always parked outside his house.. he uses it for work and often doesn’t bother with putting the alarm loop thingy on it at night..
used to be able to Hotwire Yamaha’s in about ten seconds
A lot of bikes back in the day. One wire grounded the ignition, disconnect that and away you go.
the only plausible way they could have taken it is to lift it up and over an 8-foot high, spiked metal fence.
The thief was eleven feet tall thus making a mockery of the feeble eight feet of fence.
