[Closed] How are the roads? M5/M6/A36/A350?

Got to drive from Yorkshire to Somerset tomorrow and wondered how the M6/M5 is these days... I'm usually quite happy driving in the winter, but having had someone sideswipe my car last night after he lost it on apparently OK tarmac, I thought I'd do a bit of STW research. 95% of my journey will be on main roads, so I'm hoping it'll be OK...

Thanks all. Merry Christmas and all that too!

North Somerset main roads are fine as are main roads around Bristol.

Hi Chips. Did the southern bit of that today (M5, M4, A46 to Bath) All looking good, 3 lanes open. A36 and A350 fine too all the way to Gillingham. Merry Chrimbo to you too ๐Ÿ™‚

If the M6 looks dodgy I regularly come south from Leeds by M1/M42/M5 which is normally pretty good as you miss the m6/M5 interchange

Boxing Day - noon at Alfred's Tower for an hour or two of slipping around in the snow, followed by mince pies and whatever snacks we've all brought, yes indeed.
