Also, can you find out if an insurance company has logged a claim -even if you didn't get a payout.
Its that sticky question about have you ever had a claim, well a bike got nicked in 2013, but the insurance said it was not covered. So does the fact I called them says I had a claim? How do I know?

Just used Aviva, only have to say the cost of the most expensive bike and not list all of them, good as I "change the fleet" from time to time, questioned over phone and couldn't really find fault, covered both at home and while out so long as they are secured to a "fixed" point, locked to fixed roof rack counts, cost £18.37 on top of House & Contents.

I searched round recently and found Aviva to be the best, 3 reasonably expensive bikes.
