Going to watch a gig in London next Friday and after deciding that we aren't going to have enough time to do it by train (picking up girlfriend from work, driving home, taxi to station etc) I was thinking I'd drive down if I can find a hotel somewhere with secure parking that isn't going to cost an arm and a leg
Anyone know of any?
it's a big old town, anywhere specific?
In the past I've stopped at the Wimbledon South Premier Inn and got the tube in
The gig is at the Troxy E1 0HX
Probably easier to find the hotel and NCP/Parking separately.
Depending on the time, I would park in one of the side streets off Commercial rd, failing that, if your coming from the east, Cabot sq has NCP's, long walk from there though. There's a Holiday Inn in the Highway not sure if they've got parking, 5 minutes walk from the Troxy.
