[Closed] Holiday Inn website language choices - "Queen's English"

I'm on the website at the moment and at the top right you can choose the language in which the site is displayed, one choice being that well known upholder of hook-handed extradition Her Madge the Queen.

Three cheers for HRH and for Holiday Inn.

Definitely one to 'Add to Favorites!'

If its a hotel then I'd expect Full English

But presumably Queens English would be American English with a New York accent

I had a similar convo just last week concerning Queen's English in another topic. It's suprisngly (and a little sad) how many folk think Queen's English means speaking like HRH, as opposed to just speaking correctly.

Who are you to say what is speaking correctly?

Language evolves and many word are now actually used incorrectly

I for example enjoy giving fulsome apologies to anyone who asks me 😉
