Mrs '66 wants a long weekend away in December but she's stipulated that the cottage / yurt / whatever it is must meet the following criteria:

Remote location - no neighbours / great views
Small and cosy
Hot tub
Not bothered about UK / Scotland / Wales
Budget up to £600

Anyone got any suggestions ? Google isn't being very helpful....

We've been here before a few times... So we're after a change.

Good plan, only issue would be getting a decent solid hot tub there ... Filling it, and warming it up.

Great suggestion though, one I'd not though of.

Sounds like she's planning on a slow boiling of you in the hot tub, no one will hear you scream... 😉

only to willing to help with the cunning plan....my brother stayed somewhere nice in scotland that has a hot tub in the woods, i'll try and find out where it was.

Have a look on sugarandloaf.com and see what they have. Great properties, mainly in mid Wales and quite a few meet your criteria.

Just buy a Lazy Spa and take it with you.
Bonus is you get to keep it after...

I can recommend this place in southern Scotland

Feels very remote once you are there

Pretty sure that I've seen a lodge with wood fired hot tub at Coed Trallwm in mid Wales.

Getting there in December may be a issue ?

Ferry runs through the winter, but aye, weather dependent...

That and the fact that it's pretty much booked every night until June next year....
