I wonder if they would be a threat to domestic pets?

Be good to see one in the wild, but I imagine they are so shy you would never catch sight of them.

With any luck, spent most of my ride yesterday dodging dogs / cats / dangling bags of dogshit. Got to keep the numbers in check somehow.

Not sure to be honest, seems like the thing to do rather than take it home or flick into a bush. I've been told that it's some form of protest at the council for not providing sufficient dog crap bins, although it could be a arts project. Either way it provides something to dodge when riding the trails.

They can weigh from 10-40kg.

Woah, don't fancy one of the big ones staging an ambush ๐Ÿ˜ฏ
