No, not in that way... 😳

After 10 months of ownership, it's occurred to me that my Caddy doesn't have a name. My last car was called The Retard due to the 3 letters of the reg plate being RTD. The Van is CZC, so doesn't immediately inspire anything.

Any ideas?

Cars should be named for what they do not their plate. If I was to name mine just now, it'd be the Speedboat.

Though if I was naming it for the plate it'd be Chuck.

Van? Has to be Nigel then. Or Clive if you want the alliteration.

Not yet waiting for a diner burger...
Naming a van is not how the rest of us christen a vehicle. Though as it's a caddy I can see why your struggling to persuade someone to cram in the back with you.
Fwiw they used to call my van the pirate ship...

I like Checkov. If you get another one you could call is Sulu.

My van is called Jimmy because the reg is HG54.

My Vans called Reginald due to having RJ in the redg num. Suits it too, it’s a bit hum drum and not very exciting, just functional and there when you need it.

WIth that in mind I too would choose Czeckov 😀

Mine used to be called 'The Red menace' but recently seems to have been rechristened "The VanOwar"

I think my taste in rather suspect 80's metal has contributed somewhat to this.

That was taken care of in week 1 😉

I'm quite liking "The Shack" so far, inspired by IHN's suggestions... Not too sure about any of the Czech connotations...

You christened your van by boarding someone else's car and taking their women at gunpoint?

There's a T5 I see round our way with it's name on the back, I can't stop myself thinking all the T4s & T5s with the blacked out windows and colour coded everything should be called the same. It's called "Private Ambulance".

I met a guy with a really nice Ford dayvan/bikevan, it's called Gloria because of course, it is a sic transit.

I'm liking this idea. Might help deter thieves 🙂

Have a look between your legs, if you have a penis then you don't need to name your car/van/bike etc.
