Just got a message that our AirBnB in Austria has cancelled due to flooding (!) next week, although I’ve been offered small amount of compensation, I’m having trouble finding more accommodation that isn’t now astronomically expensive.
The original booking was Tamsweg with a plan to ski Obertauern, but really could be anywhere, just been looking at Jasna / Chopok in Slovakia for example, don’t know too much about it though but at least there’s some affordable accommodation...
Any other ideas welcome!
4 people 5 nights 18th-23rd Feb. Up to 4 hours or so drive from Vienna, up to 30 mins drive to lift, budget £750.
I like Stuhleck. It's about 1.5 hours from Vienna.
Schladming is also nice

Thanks, they do look good but accommodation is a little thin in the area. Fortunately we've found somewhere in Hallstatt near Dachstein-West ski area (other side of the mountain from Schladming) that ticks the boxes, maybe even nicer than place we booked before!
Be interested to hear what that resort is like, we are headed to Altaussee not far from there, its a nice little place but limited now the kids are getting quicker!
