[#10921772]

Today is International Men's Day in case no one knew. Presumably we are all too busy running the world and oppressing everyone else to pay it any notice. I found out whilst browsing reddit sitting on the throne, where fittingly I also saw today marks World Toilet Day. It's also Roll and Sausage Day but don't think that's official, just my normal Tuesday, but what a hat trick that would be if it was!

What's the point? I thought women were given one token day a year in name only and men got to dominate the other 364 days.

Read this blog and the following Tweet thread for a more healthy view of what it means to be a man (imo).

Isn't it also marking the day in the year where the gender paygap effectively means women are working for free until the new year now?

I'm not running the world or oppressing anyone, but I don't need to be part of a day for 'Men'. Most of them are ****s.

It certainly is for me today - my wife and kids are out all evening at a Little Mix concert so I am at home cooking curry, drinking a few tins and playing COD in peace. I may even bob a rock/metal concert on the telly with the volume turned up until the dog complains.

Heaven.

What was Wenger thinking bringing Walcott on that early?

Buy yer own, and you'd better act surprised when unwrapping it Susan. 😄

Great! I will stop paying the cleaners until January then. Except the male ones of course - Happy Men's Day lads! More beer money for you.

Thanks.

I'll celebrate by putting the bins out and emptying the dishwasher.

(Un)equal pay day was 5 days ago! It was earlier than last year as the pay gap has widened.
Happy mens day 🍻
