I'm going to be honest, I haven't got the slightest idea of where to start, other than a google search. Has anyone / anyone's wife got a personal recommendation for an 'everyday' ladies bag.

Aspinals of London - check their website. I've had a hip flash off them and it's good stuff. Not cheap mind you!!!

Radley always seems to go down well with my missus. No idea if they are handmade though. Doubt it.

If you're in the NE there are some nicely made ones in Northern Arts Centre at the moment.

I can see the Christmas Day conversation with Emma now...

"Sorry love, I looked for a bag like you asked for, but I couldn't find anything. Seems no one sells them.

Anyway, I was at the petrol station, so I got you some washer fluid instead. Merry Christmas "

🙂

Thanks for the suggestions, I will have a look into them.

Nettles - I wouldn't just get her washer fluid. Perhaps some flowers / jelly babies as well. Thinking about it, she does need an windscreen ice scraper

Binners - Stop thinking like a man.

+1 on> http://www.htleather.co.uk/ < I have bought my wife 2 bags and they are excellent.
Doubt you'll get one for Christmas unless he has a cancelled order.

The geek look could get you some brownie points, depending on her style:

Mulberry
Stella McCartney

Both Horribly expensive but all the wives in my wife's coven have them.

Have a look at TK Maxx online, they have some Stella McCartney ones with silly discounts at the moment. There were some quite tasteful ones over the weekend too.

Marcus - I blame you for making me waste time on browsing all these links.
Emma is a lucky girl 🙂
P.S pass on the jelly babies to me.

Bought my daughter a Henry Thomkins satchel, don't doubt it will last a long time, but it was a bit rough round the edges.

Mulberry are so over priced .How can they be worth so much ? Luckily I managed to get real ones for £20 quid each !! for an ex as I had access to the samples and cast offs through a staff member
