Hair styled by a North Korean barber: I'm not tempted. Low maintenance is my excuse, and it's so much easier.
Harsh Dez . . . but I quite like it and am no doubt waaay older than CG - make of that what you will
S'OK mama, he's a nice person really. Have met him a few times. 🙂
techsmechs - to be clear, if guys have hair then they should be proud of it and not embrace a stupid looking hair cut. It's not a hot look. 😀

Any ladies on here care to let us know what they think of that look?
Ladies, Phah, forget them.. What do the Fellas think?? 😆 😉
Would you send me 'the list' from the international council of women so I dont make a silly error and have my hair cut in the wrong way.....? 😉
Is it OK to say that Dezzie's sideys are cool.
Oh yes, that is officially OK. 😀
that ‘look’ is nowhere near as bad as the 40+ year old men of the provinces dressing like they are still teenagers with gelled hair, white trainers, jeans with superfluous pockets/stitching detail, weekly sessions on the sunbed and the ubiquitous branded hoody
white trainers
Struth, are they still legal?
Beards without upper lip growth are just plain wrong.
I know I'm in here, and I'm commenting, but WTF are we doing on a frigging mountain biking forum evaluating hairstyles? Surely this is a new low?
Scroobius Pip is not grim!
+1
Although I am nearly 45.
Well to be fair, most of the blokes on here are probably more interested in what people your age think!
Wierdly, that's pretty much my 'haircut', but a few months ahead on the beard.
My excuses:
Beard was a winter beard, but have decicided to keep it. The only grooming it gets is a trim arround the upper lip to avoid having to wax it, and a quick brush.
Hair is as short as reasnobly practical without using clippers and I've got a good barber so it takes almost zero effort.
C_G's in a minority (or a very silent majority). My beard's reached the point of atracting compliments from strangers.

it was strange when mine started attracting it to, not just from birds looking for somewhere to nest either.
Where's that video of them comparing jean denim weight?
It's an odd phenomenon, this one.
It's usually insecure teenagers without a fully developed sense of thier own identity who resort to tribalism.
In this case however it appears to be a look adopted by middle class white men of a certain age, who presumably have, consciously or not, decided to adopt an identity they see as more appealing than the one they have developed themselves.
A triumph of marketing, a desire to belong or a modern manifestation of inner angst?

It's a good job most people are too polite to say anything.
So, more importantly, are red, skin tight jeans and funky hats still in?
Or was that last years trend?
Minus the tats, that could, almost, be Soks Jnr.
You have my sympathy - I'd disown my son if he looked liked that.
If I had a son...
His beard is not particularly attractive to me. Don't mind the hair cut, but I do not like neck tattoos, sleeves are ok. :-/
this look is all the rage, simply divine

I thought we'd reached peak beard anyway?
Have we reached Peak Tatoo yet?
Beards without upper lip growth are just plain wrong.
Very true. Seriously disturbing look.
Is it OK to confess to [s]perving[/s] reading a link that somebody posted the last time this was discussed, 100 beards or something. Some were truly terrifying. 😯
It's nowt to do with being macho, some can carry it off and some can't. Embrace what you have, simples. 🙂
So how many of you guys are sporting beardage?
It's a good job most people are too polite to say anything.
Indeed, the attention is starting to annoy my missus!
So how many of you guys are sporting beardage?
Yup. Standard format with a silver jowl area.
Saw a dude get his beard set on fire in the pub the other night, lighter under the chin, wooof! up it went, fast too 😯 Bloody stunk the pub out with burnt hair, I was forced to go outside and smoke to escape the noxious fumes.

Does stubbleage count?
Yup. Standard format with a silver jowl area.
Me too.
So how many of you guys are sporting beardage?
Nope - couple of days stubble, mostly because I don't need to look smart for work, and am too lazy to shave every day.
I've said it before, I'll say it again, at the root cause of very problem in the world there's a man with a beard.
Ooh I feel Godwin's Law approaching.

Didn't I do that earlier?

Neatly trimmed stubble (4 on the cutter thingy) here..
So how many of you guys are sporting beardage?
Where I work, most of the bearded men are bald. I can never get my head around that one.
