[Closed] Graphic novels - recommendations please

So, Mrs North's (younger) brother seems to be increasingly getting into reading graphic novels. I figured I might as well buy him a couple for Christmas, but this is a genre about which I know nothing..! So, any recommendations? Thanks :D
