Is it on TV over here yet?
I thought it wasn't on until next year.

No, not on tv but it's online. I won't link as it's not a legal site. I'm sure you can find it.

Thanks for the head's up. Just caught up with the first few of S2 and yes, it is brilliantly dark and comic.

Im enjoying Cameron Monaghan as a proto-joker

Just watched Season 2 Episode 1.

Jim Gordon. I'm not angry, I'm dissapointed.

It's so much darker than the first season. Each episode gets better so far. Lets hope it continues. Barbara is on another level now she's naughty.

I'm also liking the Riddler transformation from the slightly timid (yet murderous) character in the first series. Slight spoiler: search maniax gotham on youtube for a rough idea of what's going on (an actual trailer used on us tv) but only look at the trailer, nothing else.

just finished S2E3.

Well that's a pity.

And yet....

I'm also liking the Riddler transformation

Seems a pity they've not made any effort to develop Kristin Kringle's character

It's ace, one of the few shows I watch on the 400 channels of dross I have.

I like the idea of the [spoilers] at the end of the last episode.

the whole concept is genius. how to make ludicrously over the top villians seem normal and everyday.

Just finished season 1 on Netflix. Resisting the urge to find the first few s2e's and pull an all nighter...

Not sure on the new season, its seems a lot of effort to go to just to get revenge, why not just wee on his shoes?

I take it, from reading this thread, that Gotham must get better? I started watching the first season, with high hopes, but only got two episodes in and couldn't watch any more as I thought it was really bad. Is it really worth trying again or, knowing that I wasn't impressed by the first couple of episodes, should I just not bother?

Ooh, I can't wait. I loved the first series for the reasons that Klunk says. A slightly closer parallel universe than the DC movies.

I shan't cheat though. I will be waiting for it to hit UK TV. I like planning our cosy nights in around the 1 or 2 shows that Mrs Wachowchow enjoy. Old school rules!

I guess it will be the new before its over here proper?

Is confused as i thought i'd seen season two.

Mild spoiler if you've not seen season one alert.

Did season one finish with a certain lady escaping that odd body parts dungeon and the soon to be riddler flippin out on the cop?

I might be wrong but I think they aired season 1 with a mid season break so it appeared to be two separate shorter runs of episodes.

I gave up on this part way through S1, sounds like I should have kept going. I had problems with the Gordon character, he just annoyed me.

It's still terrible. First few episodes of S02 showed promise, then it's just fallen back into the same problems S01 had.

I will still grudge watch it tho, as I am such a DC fanboy.

I love it, i'm bang up-to-date with season 2, episode 6 is a good one..but i've liked every one of this series.

Season 1 went into a lull or crap from about episode 3 thru 6, and i almost gave up on it.... but loved it since. There are some lovely bits in it that really make you smile.

p.s. i'm a comic book type so i get the crappyness.

Just caught up with the current episode. More teasers than spoilers but:

- Young Master Bruce seems to take the first real steps towards becoming the Batman.

- Gallivan is a bit handy.

- Penguin & Nygma ๐Ÿ™‚
