i just started doing voluntary work at my local sue ryder charity shop today,which i enjoyed/made welcome by the staff.
well me being a gamer,i couldn't resist looking at their 2nd hand games 😉
left with 3 classics (well to me anyway).
painkiller black edition pc vgc £2.25
gt legends pc vgc £2.25
burnout paradise 360 vgc £2.75
was told they were doing a 3 for 2 deal,so only paid £5.00 for all 3 (i did offer to pay the full amount.
chuffed to say the least i am 😀
In 1998 my Dad and I went into our local computer game shop and bought a game (I can't actually recall which game it was) for our BBC B
The guy in the shop then gave us a copy of Revs (F1 game) free - an actual copy, rather than a legit one.
Interesting business model I thought but definitely I was chuffed 🙂
Nemesis, are you sure you aren't a decade ahead? I'm hard pressed to remember ever seeing BBC games for sale, least of all in 1998.
