Whenever I see sad looking people holding billboards aloft in the high streets of uk towns and cities they always seem to be advertising a golf sale somewhere. I especially remember the chap in Guildford high st that was there every day whatever the weather.
Why are these only ever advertising a 'golf sale'? why not clothing, furniture, other sports etc?
