I'm off to stay with some family friends for a couple of weeks and what to take them some English 'stuff'.

What are the suggestions for top english gifts?
Already packed some marmite and some whiskey.

Thanks in advance
Joe

Do NOT take brown sugar, no matter how much they beg you. It WILL explode in your suitcase, and you will still find traces of it years later.

Edit: same goes for cocaine I guess.

Can't remember which one I have used in the past, but even though pricey it sorted out drunken craving.

Went to stay with some ex-pats in France last year. Took some Jo Malone smelly house stuff (suitable expensive and looks very nice). Worked on the basis that the husband is minted and needs nothing so bought for the wife.
