I have a 2 year old GoPro HERO, the less expensive one they put out for £99. It's always worked well for me until this weekend. Whilst out on a ride I hit record, cam beeped away, timer starts running and away I went... only to find that none of the 3 videos existed when I got home. Pissed off. Sandisk card appears to work as normal with file copying across, but the cam for some reason no longer records onto it- despite the GP display and recording indicator all saying it's happening.. anyone seen anything like this before on their set ups? Card is not full btw, 13gb used out of 32gb.
SOLVED: reformatted the SD after backing up the content. Now records as before.
Didn't occur to me sooner to try that, after the problems 24hrs ago. Will now have to resort to telling people how slow I was riding, now that I can't show them in HD. As you were.
