Shocked you picked Killearn after what happened there.
Agreed, if you'd have asked us we'd have told you.
Wouldn't be me.
ach you crazy Scots and your sense of humour 😉 I suppose I could get a barbour jacket if I have to, but could we crop out the lab puppy please? My wife has already started a campaign and she doesn't need any more encouragement 🙂
We've reached peak dug up here, please don't bring another!.
Nice choice, ideally positioned for getting some good biking in, get out with GMBC guys at Mugdock on their nightrides, watching Iainc faceplanting every few miles certainly livens up what is a rather dull route... 🙂
ach
Aw! Look!...... been here five minutes and already getting wired in aboot the patter. 😉
3 Sisters Bake is a great way to become a fatty
On your next trip up there take a few taxi tours and ask the taxis driver where to live or not - on a recent local trip I got more interesting local information out of the taxi driver than I would have otherwise.
A Glasgow taxi driver? f that! 🙂
I live in Bishopbriggs. It's OK if you can manage with the 'little more expensive housing estate' mentality. i.e only talk to your neighbours to find out what they're buying next/show off. It lacks communtity and the academy is only interested in high grades over education.
but yeah, I like it here. 😉
It is close to the canal, so easy access to the outdoors and also good transport into the city.
#waves I'm in Bishopbriggs as well.
I used to go out with a girl from a Bishopbriggs. She had a nice car and great boobs. Never saw the place in daylight used to go there at the end of a night out and leave early the next morning.
I live in Uddingston and love it. You can reach Bearsden in 30 mins using the back roads
You may wish to pick up the forthcoming issue 123 as it features the Campsie Fells.😉
Loads of great riding options from the door.
Conic Hill. WHW. Dumgoyne. The Whangie. John Muir Way. The Kilpatricks. Menteith Hills. Ben Venue. Ben Ledi. Ben Lomond. And of course Mugdock😁
Feel free to contact me directly and I can give you a detailed insight into what you have on your doorstep. There are some lovely gravel rides to be had too.
Cheers
Sanny

lol. yup, sums it up.
Listen to Sanny too, he is the oracle of routes around the area and beyond
Oracle? Never been called that before!😁
Actually did a new route to me last weekend. Up onto the Meikle Bin from the canal (middle bit thru the forest was muddy but mercifully short). Dropped over to the Carron Valley then up over the Gargunnock Hills. The latter i have read described as a bogfest but we only encountered a few sections of spagnum moss but nothing showstopping. Train back from Stirling meant no headwind of despair back!😀
Really good old school day out.
Get along to GMBC night rides on Wednesday nights and you'll soon learn the local routes and the myriad of singletrack around Mugdock...
Oracle ? Nah, he’s a Fud, a likeable one tho ...
