I name all my cars. It's no worse the manufacturer branding them with fanciful model names IMO (would you have driven a Cortina in Cortina?)

Bumpkin
Wanda
Rhonda
Hugh
Hughtoo

Perhaps oddly, I don't name my bikes.

I've always named my cars. The name always has to have something to do with the registration though. My current car has WRZ at the end so the name is WuRZell. My last car had LFG at the end so the name was eLFie-G. The one before that had OCA at the end so the name was OsCAr, and so on..

the mini's all had names, but boy names. all the minis that had girl names used to break down once a month and leak for a week.

not given any cars a name since the minis.

The naming of cars is a difficult matter, it isn't just one of your holiday games...

My focus was the slug, because it was slow and left a shiny trail everywhere. Mondeo has no name but might aquire one some day.

I drive Stacey the Safety Bus - named by Miss njee20 to encourage safe driving. She has Pollyanna (Polly) Polo.

Previously there was Fiona Fiesta (aka Crazy Fi) and Huxley Pug.

My other half refers to our Golf as "the VW". This is accurate but given our other car (van) was also made by Volkswagen it isn't very useful.

Tom at college had a fierce panda.
We currently have Delilah the Peugeot Partner, and Betty the Fiat 500. Both named after hearings songs (more or less).
