Roller door batteries have run out.
Is there a rechargeable version of the AA size ER14505 3.6V?
What is so special about this battery that I cant use any of my regular rechargeable AA batteries?

14505 is the size of the battery. ie 14mm x 50.5mm. AA batteries are usually 14500, so about 0.5mm different, would be close enough for most things.
Though as above, AA batteries are about 1.5V. So won't work if your door needs 3.6V.

You can buy 14500 lithium ion rechargeable batteries, which are 3.6V. So they would probably work. Though they are usually less capacity than non-rechargeable batteries.
Also would need a suitable charger. They won't work with a regular AA charger.

Thanks - learn something new everyday.
In the end I went for the EVE same replacement although I did see some SAFT mentioned as garage door rechargeable but no mention of a charger.
