There are a few follow up films available where I enjoyed the first film

kick-ass2
red2
anchorman 2

I would probably list them in that order according to how much I enjoyed the first films. There is also the Alan Partridge film and and World's end as possible contenders.

Are any of them a big disappointment?

Obviously I am after a bit of light entertainment tonight and not looking for a life changing experience.

Also, having publicly turned his back on Kick-Ass 2, it was a sure thing that Mr Carrey's next film appearance wouldn't contain any violence, right, RIGHT?

That doesn't surprise me, anchorman didn't really have enough material for a film, the good bits were great but there was a lot of filler in there. Same for Sean of the dead, but hot fuzz really hit the mark.

Itunes rentals, I just had a look at the new releases and listed a few that I fancied. I am quite happy to pay for my entertainment when there are reasonable options available to me.
