Without cropping either and show me the finished article...

The original image isn't very well framed, so just cropping the watermark out doesn't really diminish it. Why not go for a larger, less opaque watermark that goes right across the main body of the image?

I imagine it'd be a tad tricky around the logo on the wheel but the rest not too hard?

I'm not really trying.. 2min work for you.

I would'nt worry about protecting with a water mark. Just keep your image small and lowish compression. If people want they'll pay for it or rip it they can be bothered, but they obly have the small version.

But you always have the orginal 🙂

Why would you want to know other than so you can rip off someone's copyright?

Really struggling to understand the purpose, saying "just because you want to know" isn't acceptable

It's a simple clone tool tidy-up that is. I could do it so you would barely be able to spot it in about 30 minutes I reckon.

That's exactly it, I want to see how easy it is to rip off someone's copyright. Satisfied?

I'm thinking that it's the OPs photo and he needs to know how best to protect his copyright?

Then you already have your answer and don't need to know the method.

Really struggling to understand the purpose

Well seeing as his user name is "don simon" and the photographer is "Simon Carter" I think there's potentially one fairly obvious purpose.

That's a different question with a different answer.

That was a response to a previous question, the method is still important to me.

Correct, but not the question I've asked.

What if I had longer than 30 minutes to spot it?
