and I think there is at least one other contributor with a status different to 'member'.
How did these come about? Are they granted to former moderators? Or can they be bid on? And what do the two mysterious, aforementioned titles refer to?
Now, do I need to be looking over my back for having mentioned them? 😛

Junkyard is "lazarus" because he came back from the dead. IIRC we overturned a life ban for some reason, probably profuse apologising and grovelling. I think it was Christmas also.
There's no underlying 'special' reason other than Mark thought it was funny AFAIK. It's an Admin priv, mere Moderators cannot change it. (I doubt that's a priv I could trust myself with so it's probably for the best. It's the same logic as giving an Aspie geek a Dymo).

No, the life ban was as a result of an error on the part of a/the mod(s).
I think the other one the OP is referring to is "still not a customer" which was a particularly funny evening with zokes in full swing. 🙂

It was a misunderstanding that was sorted out - there is a thread on it on here but I dont have it bookmarked and cannot recall how much was in the open.
What they did was understandable though incorrect initially, rescinding it was generous and fair tbh*, they definitely sometimes regret it.
* whilst I am probably one of the worst offenders on here they do definitely go the extra mile to allow debate and free speech on here and they are not as censorial as some would imagine.
