Any idea of the cheapest way to get from southern England to Fort William, with a bike?
Edit (following sarcastic reply below): I meant by some form of transport that would get me up there in a reasonable amount of time i.e. plane, train, automobile, bus etc)
Cycle
train booked well in advance is pretty cheap. Seeper from London will be the best way to maximise on your "on the hill' time.
IIRC it was £150 from Brighton to Fort Bill, and back. SLeeper cabin was 50ish extra.
Euston to Glasgow return can be had for around £100 return
Glasgow to Fort William can be had for £16 return
Easyjet to Glasgow may be cheaper, for the flights, but more expensive when you add the bikes.
Hmmm, probably be cheaper to go somewhere in Europe, lol.
