Apart from the engineer who designed the fitting of the rear brake boot lid cluster on a mk3 Ford Galaxy, who needs a good slapping, I have a small issue with electrics on the car.
Every few minutes, the rear lights flick off, then back on. Only momentarily off, not the front ones.
It has done this for the last 18 months we have owned it, it has not bothered me, but struggling to change a rear bulb today reminded me.
Any ideas? I am presuming the car 'checking' itself...
Bad/corroded contact is most likely. Clean them up and apply some vaseline seems to sort a lot of car lighting electrical gremlins.
Dunno, but now I'm paranoid that my S-max is doing the same but I just haven't noticed....
I need to change the bulb in the high level brake light today so +1 for slapping the engineer who designed it
Had similar the other day on a mk3.5 mondeo - turnout to be the contact in teh holder had snapped, so sometimes it was connecting properly other times not (depending on the bump in the road).
Had to replace the loom end (didn't fancy soldering/wiring in a new holder) which isn't too hard as it's plug and play (once you get past the interior).

Mine does it not driving or moving at all...

Are you using low energy light bulbs from Waitrose?
Corroded towing socket contacts?
Or a wiring may result in the ECU momentarily turning off the lights.
On my van, if the electrical load isn't within a certain parameter, i.e. if you change the rating of bulbs in the sidelights, they will turn on briefly and then turn off as they detect there is something wrong.
