are there attachment points under that rubber roof strip, or do they clamp onto the roof round the edge of the roof and into the door bit?
Does having the rubber foot on the paintwork cause any problems if they are on long term?

If it's the 2002-08 one it uses the clamps around the door frame.
Got some Thule clamps (for fiestas), bars and 2x 591 carriers for sale if you are in Scotland.
