There is always the option of CTRL +
I always have it zoomed in a bit (high res monitor, old eyes).
In Firefox I just hold Ctrl and roll the mouse-wheel till it is a suitable size. Firefox remembers the zoom level you have set for different websites so no need for user stylesheets etc.

it’s now GONE HUGE! safari OS X yosemite and this post window nearly fills a 24in screen???
